Character Counts – Outstanding student for All Saints Catholic School is Rebecca Ortega.

For the 2007 Spring Poetry Contest we had 3 winners: 2nd place went to Daniel Brooks (1st Grade), 3rd place went Jonathan Chavez (5th Grade) and Poem of Merit went to Anastasia Montes(2nd Grade). This was a city wide contest with over 500 students that entered.

In Spring 2007, Kindergarten teacher Gloria Baca of All Saints Catholic School was awarded a Bronze prize as one of the outstanding Teachers of Character in Chaves County.

Five of our children will be baptized during the Easter Vigil Mass on April 7th: Anastasia Montes, Zachary Frausto, and Konnor, Kevin, and Hannah Barron.

Our third graders will make their First Holy Communion on May 12 at the 5:30 Mass: Mark Bohlin, Paul McMahon, Maria Guadalupe Ortega, Micaiel Ramirez, and McKenna Porter.

Four of our children celebrated their First Reconciliation on March 22: Julianna Barrandey, Elizabeth Martinez, Clare McMahon, and McKenna Porter.

In Spring 2006, Vivi Kreitz (preschool teacher) and Veronica Ortega (second grade teacher) at All Saints Catholic School were recognized for their outstanding teaching ability and teaching of character and were awarded Silver Prizes as Character Counts Teachers of the Year. They both won cruises, but more importantly were recognized as two of the VERY best teachers in Chaves County by their peers and the board of Character Counts of Chaves County.
